Tuition Information

Full-season tuition is due August 24, 2024.

Full-season installments and partial-season payments are due on:

  • August 24, 2024

  • October 15, 2024

  • January 30, 2025

A 10% household discount is granted to each additional child from the same household and is applied to the lower-cost invoice upon enrollment.

Need-based Financial Assistance is available in the form of Tuition Work Credit and scholarships so no qualifying student is turned away for financial reasons.

Work Credit & Scholarships

MYS offers two need-based Financial Assistance options:

  1. MYS offers a Tuition Work Credit program in which students and their parents/guardians can earn tuition credit in exchange for assisting at MYS rehearsals, concerts, and other activities.

  2. For those unable to participate in the Work Credit program, scholarships in the form of tuition discounts are also offered.

Donations to the Carissa Hayen Memorial Scholarship Fund provide some of the financial support for our Tuition Work Credit Program.

2024–25 Tuition Rates

  • A $100 tuition deposit per student (e.g. 1 child=$100, 2 children=$200, etc) is due upon receipt of orchestra placement. The tuition deposit is a nonrefundable part your full-year tuition or trimester tuition.

  • Full-season single payment (after $100 deposit): $859

    Full-season three installments (after $100 deposit): $316 x 3

    Partial-season payment (after $100 deposit): $386 per trimester

  • Full-season payment (after $100 deposit): $880

    Full-season three installments (after $100 deposit): $323 x 3

    Partial-season payment (after $100 deposit): $393

  • Full-season payment (after $100 deposit): $981

    Full-season three installments (after $100 deposit): $357 x 3
