Open House Month

MYS will be hosting Open Houses during our rehearsals every Saturday in March. Musicians (ages 8-18) interested in learning more about MYS are invited to observe or play-along with our orchestras.

Spring Concert

MYS will present our season's grand finale as all five orchestras take the stage for the Spring Concert. A dynamic program will include memorable themes from Saint-Saëns's Carnival of the Animals, John Williams's “Flying Theme” from E.T., and Wagner’s Lohengrin. The concert will also showcase a combined performance of Soon Hee Newbold's Gravitas by the Wind and Philharmonic Orchestras. Come celebrate graduating seniors in their final performance with MYS!

2025–26 Season Auditions

String, woodwind, brass, and percussion musicians are invited to audition for placement for the 2025–26 season. Audition materials are available now. Review your instrument’s audition requirements to determine which orchestra matches your playing level.

MYS Summer Extravaganza

Our annual summer camp is expanding into the new MYS Summer Extravaganza! Join us for a vibrant and immersive weeklong day camp for orchestral musicians entering grades 2–HS grad. Registration is now open. Positions are limited and early registration is encouraged!
