2018-19 tuition rates

Tuition Deposit: At the time of orchestra placement confirmation, a $100 tuition deposit per student is required (for example, 1 child=$100, 2 children=$200, etc). The tuition deposit applies to your total tuition amount due. Remaining balances and retreat fees are due by: August 31, 2018. Tuition may be paid in full, or in trimester installments ($30 processing fee for trimester installment payment plan). Trimester payments are due on: August 31, November 17, and February 16. 

 

String Orchestra: $600 + Retreat Fees*

Balance due if paying in full (total tuition amount minus $100 deposit)=$500

Balance due if paying by trimester (total tuition amount minus $100 deposit + $30 service fee)=$177/trimester. Trimester payment due dates: August 31, November 17, and February 16

 

Philharmonic Orchestra: $635 + Retreat Fees*

Balance due if paying in full (total tuition amount minus $100 deposit)=$535

Balance due if paying by trimester (total tuition amount minus $100 deposit + $30 service fee)=$188/trimester. Trimester payment due dates: August 31, November 17, and February 16

 

Repertory Orchestra: $730 + Retreat Fees*

Balance due if paying in full (total tuition amount minus $100 deposit)=$630

Balance due if paying by trimester (total tuition amount minus $100 deposit + $30 service fee)=$220/trimester. Trimester payment due dates: August 31, November 17, and February 16

 

Symphony Orchestra: $750 + Retreat Fees*

Balance due if paying in full (total tuition amount minus $100 deposit)=$650

Balance due if paying by trimester (total tuition amount minus $100 deposit + $30 service fee)=$227/trimester. Trimester payment due dates: August 31, November 17, and February 16

Family Discount: There is a 10% discount for families with multiple children in the program.

*2018-19 Retreat fees: Philharmonic/Repertory/Symphony: $115; String Orchestra: $45. Retreat fees are due on: TBD. Retreat fees are separate from tuition and must be paid in full by: TBD.

 

tuition refunds

If you leave at any point during a trimester, for any reason, you are still responsible for paying tuition for that trimester. If you have paid the full season tuition, MYS will issue a refund minus any applicable discount(s) for additional family members or student referrals, and a $25.00 processing fee. No refunds are made once the first rehearsal of a trimester begins.
